A Dutchman wearing a tall coned hat has been placed in a large spinning top, his mouth is turned down and eyes looking upwards, he complains Mine Head be very Giddy indeed. He wares a brown tunic and pants, with a coloured scarf tied around his neck. Inscribed on the side of the top are the words ; Saba, St. Eustatia, St. Martin, Demerary, Ifsequibo, Curaxs. To the left is a British Tar, wearing striped pants and shirt, He holds aloft a banner in his right hand inscribed Rodney, he holds a pipe in his left hand which he is smoking and blowing clouds of smoke around the Dutchman, he says ; That for Charity Mynheer.
To the right a Brtish Military character is standing back towards the viewer, his left hand with finger outstretched , turning the top. He holds a banner in his right hand inscribed, Rodney. He says Dame Jack round with him. I am just vin Sight of Curafsao
