Much in the styler of Bunbury’s decorative designs, a young spinning girl stands before a seated old woman. She holds the staff and thread in her habds and looks down at the old woman. She, seated holds a pair of crutches on her lap.
Below the design are the verses;
My Father urg’d me sair
My Mither nae speak
But she look’d in my face
Till my heart was like to break’
