Description
A large and interesting mezzotint showing an elderly school teacher with her three young pupils. She sits with a book open in her lap clasping a pair of spectacles in her hands. Two pupils stand to her left, and the third with his back to us, stands on a stool reading from a small book. On the table behind him is an egg timer.
