The third plate from a set of three, representing nine different characters, mostly the immediate family of the owners of Blenheim. The private theatre at Blenheim was opened in September 1787.

The scene here shows three full length figures standing facing towards us, the figure on the left, Richard Edgecumbe born 1764, died 1839, in the centre Lord William Russel, brother of Francis, Duke of Bedford. On the right, Lady Caroline Spencer, eldest daughter of the third Duke of Marlborough, born 1763, married 1792 to Henry Welbore, died 1813
