Description
A pretty oval portrait of Harriet Powell (On this print Powel).
The actress and singer who married Kenneth MacKenzie who was created Viscount Fortrose and Earl of Seaforth. Miss Powell is portrayed as an exceedingly elegant and graceful girl. There appears, however, to have been some secrecy about the marriage, as it is not mentioned in the peerages.
