A surprised husband enters his wife’s bed chamber holding in his left hand a candle and in his right a shotgun, he looks down, towards a policeman appearing from under the bed and exclaims Hollo! My fine Fellow, how the Devil came you under there? The policeman, barrel of the gun pointing at his face, looks up and replies Oh! If you please, Sir does vun Mister Smith live here? To his side a chamber pot lies turned over. The wife, apparently naked apart from her nightcap looks on startled hands raised up.
