A scene in Long Acre, Covent garden. A large crowd of women gather around a shop window where pots and pans are displayed, between them is a sign which reads Wanted an housekeeper to a Single Gentleman. The women are pushing and shoving to gain entrance to the shop, one or two have fallen to the ground in the mayhem Below ther main image is a scene of mounted horses pulling a carriage which has just hit a sign post and is being upturned.
