A satire on the outlandish fashion of the day.
A fashionable lady wearing an extremely broad-rimmed bonnet adorned with an abundance of ribbons, turns as she walks. She is surprised to see a dustman wearing his traditional cap, holding out with both hands, towards her, a bustle.
He says to her ; You dropp’d this here Thingumbob marm She replies Oh dear it’s my Bustle.
