A satire on fashion: a lady with absurdly high coiffure enters a grand room alarming a gentleman, a parrot, a cat and a small dog; as the man leaps up he knocks over a table so that a scroll lettered ‘Lecture upon Heads’ . On the wall behind is a picture of the peak of Tenerife and above the door, a picture of ‘The Geese watching the Capitol’.
Above the main title, in French is inscribed, La Fracoise a Londres
