A rare Marks satire on double meaning of words.
A tripartite set of images side by side. The first , titled Fish, shows a long nosed fisherman standing with his rod in the rain. He is hunched over, grim faced, water dripping from his hat, down onto his nose.
The second titled Flesh, shows a fat, red faced butcher standing in his shop with a cleaver in his hand. A young girl stands beside him holding her shopping basket, the butcher holds his hand under her chin, looking at her with a sideways leery grin,
The thitd titled & Fowl, shows a man seated for dinner. He is very lean and is hunched over his plate looking down with an unpleasant scowling expression.
