The elderly, skinny, lecherous figure of ‘Old Q’ the 4th Duke of Queensberry (1724-1810), carrying a large fur muff, reaches out his hand to pinch the bottom of a pretty, coy young milliner. She carries a large bandbox and has a yellow scarf tied over her bonnet. Two medicine bottles protrude from Queensberry’s pocket, labelled Renovating Balsam and Velno’s Vegetable Syrup (both well known quack tonics). BM 8867.
